Chandigarh: Punjab BJP state president Sunil Jakhar’s nephew Sandeep Jakhar has presented his side after being suspended from the Congress. He said that Congress is a very big party, so at least their side should have been known. He will not apologize to the party. Sandeep Jakhar said that he did not do any work secretly, whatever he did, he did it openly. He said that he will continue to serve the people of Abohar.
He said that he will not respond to any letter. And they still stand by their stand. Jakhar said options are always open. If there can be an alliance between the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, then the next thing is in the BJP. He said that there are other leaders in the Congress party whose houses are waving the flags of both the parties. Jakhar said that since he is an MLA, he has been working for the good of the people and this is understood better by the people of his constituency. He has not done any anti-party work. The Congress high command which is taking action today, should have discussed with me 1 year ago when Sunil Jakhar joined BJP.
Sandeep Jakhar is Congress MLA from Abohar. Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring accused him of being involved in anti-party activities. On this, orders were issued by the High Command to suspend him.
