Mukhtar Ansari Convicted: The court has sentenced former MLA Mukhtar Ansari to life imprisonment in Banda Jail. On Monday, the court has declared Mukhtar guilty in the 32-year-old Awadhesh Roy murder case. Mukhtar Ansari was found guilty under sections 148, 149 and 302.
Congress leader and Awadhesh Roy’s younger brother Ajay Roy has expressed happiness over the conviction of Mukhtar Ansari in the court.
