A large number of complaints are being received on the email addresses issued by Punjab State School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains to register complaints of looting in the name of books and funds by private schools of Punjab State.
Releasing this, the Education Minister said that more than 1600 complaints have been received on email during the last 24 hours, which have been sent to the Education Minister’s Task Force constituted by the district for investigation. The task force will visit the schools to verify the facts and submit the report to the regulatory authority.
The Education Minister said that looting in the name of education will not be allowed in the state as per the guidelines of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
He said that notices have been issued to 30 private schools in the state for not following the government instructions. The Punjab Regulation of Fees of Unaided Educational Institutions Bill 2016 and 2019 has been violated by these schools. These schools have been asked to reply within 7 days.
Minister Bains said that the schools that have been issued notices today include Ram Ashram School of Amritsar district, Amritsar, Gurukul Public School of Bathinda district, Eastwood International School Dumwali, Pine Grove Public School of Fattihgarh Sahib district, Basi Pathana, Fazilka district. De Pinaka Senior Secondary School, Fazilka, St. Kabir Gurukul Senior Secondary School, Assumption Convent School, Abohar, Aspire International School, Gobindgarh Fazilka, L.R. S. DAV Senior Secondary Model School, Abohar, Ditto Galaxy Star Public School, Gurdaspur District, Ditto Jawahnar Navodaya Vidyala, Hoshiarpur District, Falahi Ditto Sacred Heart Public School, Uttalan, Ludhiana District, Spring Dale Senior Secondary School, Khanna Khurd, Ludhiana , Ram Lal Basin Public School, School, Ditto Sri Guru Nanak Dev Academy Jhunir in Mansa District, Jindal International School, Rampur Mander, English Grammar School, Bade, N.R.M. Holy Heart Convent School Budhlada, N.R.M. Holy Heart Convent School Boha, BHS Senior Secondary School Barnala, District Mansa, Mother’s Dream Public School, Budhlada, Asara International School in Sangrur District, Sant Baba Ranjit Singh Public Senior Secondary School, Dhuri, Sanskar Valley Smart School, Bhawanigad, British Convent School , Sunam and District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Sconies World School Ghatoor and Rait Bahra International School, Sahora have been issued notices.
