The Punjab Cabinet is going to be expanded for the fourth time today. Bhagwant Mann is going to include Kartarpur MLA Balkar Singh and Lambi MLA Gurmeet Singh Khudiya in his cabinet. Governor Banwarilal Purohit will administer the oath of office and secrecy to the two new ministers at 11 am on Wednesday.

While two new ministers are being inducted into the cabinet, one cabinet minister has resigned from his post. Local Government Minister Inderbir Singh Nijhar submitted his resignation to Bhagwant Mann due to personal reasons. Which has been forwarded by the Chief Minister to the Governor for further approval. After the approval, time was taken from the Governor to administer oath to the new ministers.

Kartarpur has got the most lead in the Jalandhar by-election
Kartarpur MLA Balkar Singh has been awarded for his excellent work in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha by-election. Not only did he get the maximum lead from his constituency in the by-elections, but he also got the reward of conniving with SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia. Majithia had opened a front against Balkar but Balkar put up a strong fight.

Lambi MLA Gurmeet Singh Khudian has defeated Shiromani Akali Dal’s fort and defeated 5-time Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and won the post of minister. Khuddia has created history by making the impossible possible by defeating Shiromani Akali Dal patron and former Chief Minister Badal from his own home constituency of Lambi.
