The 22-year-old Payal has started carving out a niche for herself in the virtual world of gaming.
YouTube channel based on gaming opened
In 2020, Dhare started his YouTube channel with little knowledge about gaming. Two years later, the gamer shared his success story with a subscriber count of over 2.5 million. Not only this, he also won many awards within two years. She has also won Loco Award, Hungama 50 Women Game Changer of 2022 and Creators United Awards 2023.

Payal says, “Gaming has always been a hobby that I enjoy spending time on. Once I got a positive response to my gameplay video, I got emotional. That’s when I decided to pursue it as a career. I strived to express my creativity, achieve financial stability, and establish myself as a public figure in the gaming industry.”
If you go ahead with the conviction to start any work, then your dream starts turning into reality. When Payal started getting success, her dream started coming true. Gaming was a passion for him. She wanted to become a professional gamer.

It may seem easy to us to be streamers and gamers in general. But it takes longer than it looks. It was not easy to cross millions of subscribers as a YouTuber. It is also not easy to handle trolls. Payal says, “Growing and surviving in the gaming world has been challenging. Especially dealing with trolls and negative comments is not easy.”
For Dhare, the trolls were not limited to making fun of his gaming skills, but some of the comments were personal as well. She says, “I faced harassment including negative comments about my gameplay, appearance and even makeup.”

Being a female gamer was the opposite of a traditional career. So it has been challenging as well. But the support of your loved ones can help you achieve the difficult goal. “Initially, pursuing a career in gaming was seen as antithetical to tradition. But I was lucky to have the support of my parents and gaming advisor. They believed in my passion. Now I have established myself in the gaming world. I need to consider a backup plan now don’t need।”

Women have left their mark in many fields. She will continue to do so in future as well. Some fields such as gaming are still considered the domain of boys. Dhare says, “The gender gap in the gaming industry is significant. In this, women are given less representation in various roles. This includes esports, streaming, etc. Despite some progress in recent years, there is still a shortfall. There is still a lack of gender diversity in the industry.”
Like any other field, the attitude towards women in the gaming industry will also change. Dhare believes, “Women can bring unique perspectives, experiences and skills that can enrich gaming content development, design, marketing and promotion. because they have different preferences and playing style।”
