In women suffering from PCOS, the egg does not reach the ovary, due to which there are small grains in the ovary which are called cysts. Generally, the egg matures and reaches the ovary to become fertile, but due to non-availability of sperm, it comes out of the body in the form of period.

Some women do not produce enough hormones to ovulate. Due to lack of ovulation, cysts are formed in the ovary. These cysts make hormones called androgens. Women with PCOS often have high levels of androgens. This androgen can affect a woman’s period. Also causes many symptoms of PCOS.

have a good sleep

Dr. Tanya tells that it is very important for you to get 8 hours of sleep, it can help in your PCOS. If for some reason you are not able to sleep at night, then whenever you sleep, then definitely sleep for 8 hours. Sometimes, due to lack of sleep, your hormones get disturbed, due to which PCOS can be formed.

reduce stress

Even if you are under a lot of stress, it can also cause PCOS in you. Many women also have stress due to PCOS, which can increase this problem further. In PCOS, acne, pimples, hair growth on the face, due to missed periods, stress increases in many women, especially in young women, this stress is more.

take a balanced diet

Research has shown that healthy eating habits help in managing PCOS. Eating whole grains, fruits, vegetables, protein-rich foods, and low-fat or fat-free milk, cheese, or yogurt can help you manage both your weight and blood sugar levels.

Exercise

Light exercises like walking, jogging, cycling or swimming can all help with PCOS. This type of exercise improves insulin release in your body, which lowers your risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Getting 30 minutes or more of exercise a day can help with weight management, symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as improving periods and ovulation.

Dr Tanya says that you need not worry too much about PCOS as you are not alone. Many girls face this problem and it can be cured with medicines or by changing the routine.
