Bureau Report: The Special Court of the National Investigation Agency NIA, Mohali, has directed to attach the property of the accused named in the international drug smuggling and narco network of the KLF. Under this, the 24 kanal and 14 marla property of Virinder Singh Chahal, the main accused of heroin and drug possession in 2018, in Devidaspur village in Amritsar will be attached.
NIA officials have informed that an investigation into the matter was started on the basis of an FIR registered on 31 May 2019. In this, 500 grams of heroin and 1.20 lakhs of drugs were seized from a youth named Jasbir Singh Samra. In the investigation, the names of Virinder Chahal and Harpreet Singh alias Happy came to light. Investigation has revealed that Virender Chahar is close to an international Dubai smuggler and money launderer Jasmeet Singh Hakimzada and Pakistan-based head of KLF Harmeet Singh alias PHD.
Heroin used to be collected from Kashmiri drug dealers
Investigation has revealed that Virinder Singh Chahal was part of KLF Narco Terror Module and was collecting heroin consignment from Kashmir drug dealers on the instructions of smuggler Hakeemzada and PHD. The banned organization KLF is accused of being a narco-terror network and drug smuggling. The investigation of the NIA in the case has revealed that the network run by Hakimzada and PHD was big. This network was being run by drug smugglers based in Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi.
