Last Thursday night at around 12 o’clock, a fire broke out in the AR tower due to short circuit. Seeing the fire in this tower, people immediately informed the police and fire brigade about it. On receiving the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and got involved in the rescue operation, but the fire could not be controlled.

Immediately, fire brigade vehicles from the nearby districts of Unnao and Lucknow also reached the spot. At present, about 50 vehicles of the fire brigade are engaged in extinguishing the fire, but the fire has not been controlled yet.

Joint Commissioner Anand Prakash Tiwari, who reached the spot, said that the fire brigade team is busy in extinguishing the fire. The entire department including the police commissioner is also present on the spot. The tower is on fire from all sides. This is the reason why it is taking some time to control. He said that, efforts are being made to control the fire, rescue work is going on for 5-6 hours. 15-16 fire engines are engaged in extinguishing the fire. Army, Airforce vehicles are also present. The fire is expected to be brought under control in the next 3-4 hours.” At present the rescue work is going on.
