Presenting the budget on Friday, CM Khattar announced that the farmers in Haryana who deposit the loan till 30 September 2023 by 31 May 2024, their interest and penalty will be waived off. He further said that I am the son of a farmer. I understand the fear of farmers. I myself have run the solution and farmed.

Announcing the budget, the Chief Minister said that the process of imparting drone operation training to 500 young farmers through 'Drishti' initiated by the State Government under the Government of India's initiative to promote farmer drones in spraying fertilizers and pesticides. has been initiated. So far 100 farmers have been trained and drone pilot licenses have been provided.

Further, Chief Minister Khattar said that agricultural production has increased at the rate of 8.1 percent in 2020-23-24, which is one of the highest in the country. About one million farmers make their crop data available every season on the My Crop Mera Biora portal, which provides useful information to the government for formulating market intervention strategies. The government has directly deposited the payment of Rs 29,876 crore in the Rabi and Kharif season-2023 in the accounts of the farmers.
