Jeevanjot Kaur Chahal became a flying officer in the Air Force, the villagers gave a warm welcome

There was an atmosphere of happiness in Harchowal village of Gurdaspur when Jeevanjot Kaur, the daughter of the village, reached her native village as a flying officer. To share in the family's happiness, relatives and neighbors at home came to congratulate the army officer-turned-daughter and her family.

The special thing is that this family has been serving the country through the army for three generations and while his grandfather, father and uncles retired from the army at the rank of JCO, the fourth generation of the family has served in the army for life. The officer is the first daughter of the family to join.

There was a big struggle behind Jeevanjot Kaur reaching this officer rank. Jeevanjot and his family said that Jeevanjot completed his matriculation and up to 12th in a private school in the village and Batala and later graduated from Chandigarh University in Computer Science Engineering but then got a job in a good IT sector and Worked for 2 years.

In which he also had a good salary but when the siblings gathered at home during the lockdown, brother Arshdeep who was preparing for NGA motivated Jeevanjot to prepare for the army as well. On the advice of his brother, he started the preparation. After which he joined Air Force Academy Hyderabad.

Although the journey was not that easy as he faced failure in the first two attempts but succeeded in the third time. There, Jeevanjot has now completed his almost two years of training, which is considered very strict.
