In view of Mission Employment, Punjab Government is trying to provide employment to the young boys and girls of the state. In this direction, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will also give appointment letters to 249 candidates for government jobs today. This program will be held at Municipal Bhawan Chandigarh.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has claimed to give jobs to around 35 thousand youth of Punjab. The Punjab government has made recruitments for various posts in various government departments during the last one and a half years. Apart from this, recruitment in the police department and other departments including the new Road Safety Force (SSF) has also been announced for the coming years. The Chief Minister every time announces that the state treasury is full and the state government is making efforts to provide jobs to the Punjabi youth in the state itself.
First Punjab Invest and now Punjab Tourism Summit
The Punjab Government has organized a big Punjab Investment Summit in the last one and a half years for the industrial sector of Punjab and investment in the state. The three-day Punjab Tourism Summit and Travel Mart is starting from September 11. The objective of both the conventions is to promote industries in Punjab and provide employment to the youth. For this, the Punjab government has made many other policies including tourism policy. On this basis, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has claimed to give jobs to young Punjabi boys and girls.
Theme parks and water sports in Mohali
Wonderla Group may set up theme park and water sports in Mohali by investing Rs 500 crore. This theme park and water sports project in Mohali and many other projects are expected to get approval from the Punjab government soon. Apart from the Wonderla Group, Club Mahindra is also looking for a better location in or around Mohali.
