Jagtar Singh Tara came out of jail on parole

Jagtar Singh Tara, accused of murdering former Punjab Chief Minister Beant Singh, has come out of jail on parole for 2 hours. Tara will attend her niece's wedding today. Tara has been granted parole by the Punjab and Haryana High Court from 11 am to 1 pm.

Earlier, Tara's brother had died in April, but at that time Tara did not get bail. Now the High Court has granted parole for the niece's marriage. Tara's niece's Anand Karja is being held at the Gurdwara Sahib of Mughal Majri village in Ropar. Jagtar Singh Tara is currently serving his sentence in Chandigarh's Burail Jail. Tara's brother died in April, so Tara sought parole to attend her niece's wedding.
