Ludhiana A 9-year-old child sitting in a car was shot in the village of Akalgarh Khurd. The bullet hit his father Daljit Singh alias Jita, a farmer, in the back. which stuck in the navel. Due to which his condition worsened. The injured Jeeta was taken to a private hospital in Raikot.
When Daljit’s condition started to deteriorate, he was immediately sent to Ludhiana by ambulance. After which he is undergoing treatment in DMC. His condition is said to be critical.
According to preliminary investigation by the police, on Sunday morning, Daljit Singh Jita along with his wife and son was going to his in-laws house from his village Akalgarh Khurd to spend the evening of the month of Saawan. He had reached some distance from the house in the car when suddenly a shot was fired. Then he saw that his pistol was on the hand of the son sitting in the back seat, from which the bullet had fired. Police say that the case is being investigated. It is not yet known whether the pistol was locked or not.
It is also suspected in the police investigation that the lock of the pistol may not have been opened while playing with the child. It is also being seen how this pistol got in the hands of the child. At that time, where did the injured Jita keep this pistol in the car?
