Many such patients are coming to the Civil Hospital of Derabassi, who have complaints of irritation and itching in their eyes.
Speaking here today, Senior Medical Officer of Derabassi Civil Hospital, Dr. Dharminder Singh said that eye patients have to be kept in isolation and the main symptoms of this disease are swelling, redness, and itching of the eyes. Avoiding it is just like Corona. Most of the children are suffering from this disease and in such cases the child should not be sent to school at all.
He said that this disease is spread from one person to another. If a member of the house has symptoms of the disease, then he should put Ditol in a bottle and fill it with water and clean his hands while entering the house so that if If your hand is touched by this virus, it will disappear completely.
He said that the globe of the eye has a membrane called the conjunctiva, which covers the inside of the eyelids and the white part of the pupil. An infection in the membrane causes the eye to swell, which is also known as eye flu or conjunctivitis.
This causes sticky, liquid, itching and eye flu-like discomfort in the eyes. To avoid conjunctivitis viral i.e. eye flu, do not touch or rub eyes, keep sanitizer in children’s school bags, wash hands with soap and warm water, remove contact lenses before going to bed, do not share towels, make-up, Use goggles in swimming pools, do not swim if infected, rinse eyes 2 to 3 times with water.
In a good talk, Dr. Dharmendra told his people to dispel the superstition that this disease is not spread by looking at someone because people sometimes say that I looked into the eyes of the victim, so I got eye flu in my eyes. .
He said that if any such movement is seen in the eyes, then people should consult their nearest eye doctor which is a good and correct initiative and should refrain from home remedies because it can have a fatal effect on the eyes.
