Currently, the water flowing in Sutlej river has not affected many people and crops, but the water released from Ropar Head is likely to reach Ferozepur by midnight or Tuesday morning. Due to that water, there is a fear of taking a terrible form of flood.

On Monday, 55000 cusecs of water has been released from Hussainiwala head towards Pakistan. While the water will rise further when it reaches Ropar Head.
