Girdavari becomes difficult when the condition worsens due to waterlogging
The Punjab government has claimed to complete the special Girdavari by August 15 to compensate the people for the loss, while the opposition leaders have said that the Girdavari is not being done properly. Because it is raining right now. Due to this, the condition of the villages is very bad. Especially in the villages adjacent to the Sutlej and other rivers, the condition of beans has remained. The challenge will remain in being able to perform girdawari with an accurate assessment of all people.
Apart from Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, other ministers and MLAs, leaders of opposition parties have also visited the flood-affected areas. Leaders of Congress and Akali-BJP also took stock of the loss in their respective constituencies. Along with this, presidents and delegations of all political parties have met with Governor Purohit and sought help from the central government regarding compensation for the damage caused to the state due to floods.
