Bureau Report: A post on social media about the Indian Air Force is going viral. The post has a picture of a Sikh security personnel of the Air Force. By sharing this photo, it is being claimed that most of the pilots and security personnel of the Indian Air Force are quitting their jobs. A user named Defense Outpost wrote that sources inside the Indian Air Force have said that most Sikh pilots and security personnel are refusing to serve because their senior Hindu officers are insulting them.

An ‘X’ handler named The Stand Point has also made the same claim about the Indian Air Force. But the truth about this claim is completely opposite. The Air Force has also released its statement on this misleading post.

On the claim of the viral post, a post related to it has been found on the official ‘X’ account of the Indian Air Force. The Indian Air Force denied the viral claim and wrote ‘This information is completely wrong and is being shared to spread rumours’.

Another post has been found on social media regarding this viral post. This is on 7 July 2021. BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa shared this photo in 2021 and wrote that ‘Adaesh Parkash Singh Pannu, son of a farmer of Chaudharywala village in Tarn Taran district, has been appointed as a flying officer. Congratulations’ A 19-year-old man is a student of NDA Academy Nishan-e-Sikhi Khadur Sahib’.
