Thieves targeted the temple in Jalandhar and carried out the robbery

Shri Vaishno Mata Mandir located at Model House Chowk in Jalandhar, Punjab has been targeted by some thieves. Thieves entered the temple by breaking the door. The accused stole money from the donation box, CCTV and its DVR from inside the temple and took it with them. The police of the Bhargava Camp police station have started investigating the matter.

Prahlad Sharma, the priest of the temple, said that he reached the temple around 5 o'clock in the morning like every day. Where he saw that all the cupboards inside the temple were broken. When the priests went to check the CCTV, it was found that the accused had also stolen the CCTV and DVR. The locks of the donation box were also broken.

After the incident, the priest immediately reported the matter to the temple committee. On checking the donation box, it was found that the accused have stolen around 40,000 to 45,000 rupees from inside the temple.

Ashwani Kumar, a member of the temple committee, said that as soon as he got the information about the incident, he immediately reached the spot. It has been revealed in the preliminary investigation that the accused Mr. Maa Vaishno Devi entered the Baba Balak Nath temple by breaking the lock of the temple. After this he carried out this incident.

He said that the temple has been stolen three times before. Along with this, the police officers who arrived at the spot have started the process of recording the statement of Pandit after investigating the matter. Let us tell you that the place where the theft happened is a crowded square. Where there is a police patrol at all times. But still the accused came and committed the incident and escaped.
