Indian athletes continue to thrive in the Tokyo Paralympic Games. After Friday, Saturday is also proving to be a very good day for India.
On Saturday, India won several medals in a row. On Saturday, Pramod Bhagat won India’s first gold medal in badminton at the Tokyo Paralympics. Pramod Bhagat defeated Daniel Brethel in the men’s singles SL3 final to clinch the gold.
At the same time the bronze medal of this event has gone to Manoj Sarkar of India. In the match which lasted for 45 minutes, Pramod Bhagat defeated Daniel 21-14, 21-17. World number one Pramod Bhagat also became the first player to reach the final.

On the other hand, Manoj Sarkar has defeated Fujihara of Japan in the bronze medal match of the same event. The Manoj government faced Fujihara Daisuke of Japan. Fujihara was defeated by Pramod Bhagat in the semifinals. Manoj Sarkar was trailing in the first game but then he made a brilliant comeback and won this exciting match.
