The water accumulated due to rain in Khera and Mainpur villages of Patiala district has put people in difficulties. People have accumulated water up to their knees. People are pushing their vehicles with great difficulty. The rapid flow of water and the noise are scaring people. People are afraid to go out but water has gone into people’s houses too. The belongings of people’s houses have been damaged.
The situation in Nawanshahr is also frightening. Water has also accumulated in Nawanshahr, due to which people’s crops have been damaged. Big potholes have been formed in the roads due to fallen trees. People have been asked to exercise caution.
