Institute of Automotive and Driving Skills: Punjab Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar inaugurated the Institute of Automotive and Driving Skills established with the help of District Red Cross at Government ITI Rupnagar. After Sri Muktsar Sahib and Hoshiarpur, this is the third such center in Punjab, which has been opened at Ropar.

Congratulating the residents of the city during the inauguration ceremony, Laljit Singh Bhullar said that it was a big demand of the residents of the district that a Driving Skills Center should be established in the district so that the common people do not face any kind of difficulty for driving license and training. fall On this occasion, he was specially accompanied by Constituency MLA Advocate Dinesh Chadha and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav was present.

He also mentioned here that due to the wrong policies of the previous governments, the center of Sri Muktsar Sahib and Hoshiarpur had to cover many districts due to which the people living far away had to face a lot of difficulties. Now, due to the efforts of our government, RTO system is being started in every district in the near future, which will make it very easy for people to get training.

He said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is fulfilling its commitment to provide better facilities to the people of the state. He said that our government is working with full determination so that the common people do not face any problem in getting the government work done.

Advocate Dinesh Chadha thanked the Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar and said that the establishment of this institute has great significance for the district because most of the transporters in Delhi and Himachal Pradesh belong to Ropar district but Mr. Muktsar for making heavy driving license for those transporters. Sahib had to go to village Mahuana, due to which he had to face a lot of problems.

He said that earlier in the state only 2 centers were running in Punjab, one was Hoshiarpur and the other was Mahuana (Sri Muktsar Sahib). Now this third center is being opened in Rupnagar, which is a matter of great pride for us.

Giving information on this occasion Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Dr. Preeti Yadav said that registration can be done for 2 days training in this center. So complete information will be made available online soon. There will be a total of 30 slots in this training, out of which 5 will be reserved for immediate needs. Meanwhile, the candidates will also be given first aid training to deal with emergency situations.
