Mansa News: The Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan is continuously organizing medical camps in the affected areas of the state to save people from deadly diseases during the severe flood situation with the support of government and non-government organizations and also provided free medicines to patients. are going

These views were expressed by the Minister of Health and Medical Education Dr. Balbir Singh held a meeting with officials of District Administration, IMA, Chemist Association at the local Bachat Bhawan. Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh appealed to the Indian Medical Association and said that medical staff should be deployed in the flood-affected areas with ambulances along with medicines and should be supported in providing other essential services if required.

President of Indian Medical Association Mansa Dr. Janak Raj Singla told the Health Minister that 1 ambulance has been provided to the Health Department and Rs 51 thousand has been sent to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for the flood victims. Apart from this, a list of 13 private hospitals will be sent to Civil Surgeon Mansa where free treatment will be provided to flood affected people.

The Health Minister expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the Deputy Commissioner Rishipal Singh and MLAs for the flood-affected villages in the district and other necessary arrangements including relief camps for food, drink and accommodation for the residents living there. He said that the Punjab government is trying to provide all possible assistance to the people who are suffering from floods.

He said that the health department has made adequate arrangements for the treatment of diseases spread by water and mosquitoes. He said that more than 500 emergency response teams have been deployed in the state. He said that medical camps are being organized for the flood affected people and all necessary medicines have been made available.

On this occasion, MLA Budhlada Principal Buddha Ram, MLA Sardulgarh Gurpreet Singh Banawali, MLA Mansa Dr. Vijay Singla, Deputy Commissioner Rishipal Singh, S.S.P. Dr. Nanak Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ravinder Singh, Chairman District Planning Board Charanjit Singh Akkanwali, Gurpreet Singh Bhuchar and other officials and leaders were present.
