The Khals Bureau: Today is the 300th birthday of Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, the brave warrior and brave general of the Ramgarhia Misal, who raised his voice against oppression, led the sect’s forces in difficult times and protected the oppressed. Congratulations to all of you from The Khals TV. On the occasion of today’s special day, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee is organizing a grand Gurmati event.
This morning, Sri Akhand Path Sahib ji’s Bhog was held at historic Bunga Ramgariya, after which the main function is being held at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall. On the occasion of the event, panth famous ragi jathas are participating through Gurbani kirtan, history is being shared with the devotees by narrators, kavishars and dhadi jathas.
On this occasion, Singh Sahibs, Jathedars of Takht Sahibs, President of Shiromani Committee, heads of various sects and prominent personalities of Panth will also participate.
On this occasion, Head Granthi Singh Sahib Giani Jagtar Singh of Shri Darbar Sahib ji congratulated the Sangat. Giani Jagtar Singh also informed the Sangat about today’s program and informed about the history of Sardar Jassa Singh Ramgaria.
The Khalsa Fateh March, which started from Gurdwara Sri Rakabganj Sahib dedicated to the 300th birth centenary of Jassa Singh Ramgarhia, has also been completed today at Sri Akal Takht Sahib.
On reaching Amritsar, the Khalsa Fateh March was welcomed by the Sangat at various places. The Shiromani Committee organized a reception near the local Bhai Gurdas Hall.
The officials of the Shiromani Committee expressed their respect by offering Rumala Sahib to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji on the arrival of Nagar Kirtan and gave Siropao to five beloved Sahibs. The devotees also installed langar of different dishes on the way. The Khalsa Fateh March started from Delhi on April 16, passing through various places in Delhi, Haryana and Punjab and reached Amritsar.
