This incident is being reported from the Baby Nanki Ward of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. A case has been registered by the police. The said woman is being identified through CCTV cameras. The parents of the newborn child said that they had entered the Baby Nanki Ward about 15 days ago from Majupur village.
Last evening at 6 o’clock, a woman came to them and said that she also got a nephew at home. By doing this he increased his acquaintance with them. According to the family, the woman ran away with their child after sniffing something at them at 3 am. The hospital administration has categorically refused to say anything. The matter is being investigated by the police.
The family members have made serious allegations against the hospital administration and the police for not taking action. The police officials who reached the spot said that they are checking the CCTV cameras and a woman and a young man are seen in the CCTV camera and the photo of the woman carrying the child is not clear. Police say that more CCTV cameras are being searched. Soon this woman and this young man will be arrested.
