Bureau report : Jasvir Singh posted as ASI in Hoshiarpur police station Dasuha has died in a road accident in village Mahindipur. The police have registered a case against the unidentified car driver and have started investigation. The police have started checking the CCTV of the area to catch the accused driver.
ASI went to investigate a case
According to the information received, ASI Jasvir Singh was the duty officer in the Dahula police station. In connection with a case, he reached the railway station on the National Highway while riding his motorcycle, and a high-speed car passing by hit the bike. Jasveer Singh was seriously injured in the accident.
People rushed to hospital, could not save
A passer-by rushed ASI Jasveer Singh to Dasuha Civil Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The local police informed the family about the incident and the dead body has been kept in the civil hospital. One son of the deceased Jasvir Singh is serving the country in the Indian Air Force. DSP Balbir Singh, who arrived at the spot, along with police chief Balwinder Singh and other officials inspected the incident site.
