Additional Sessions Judge Pulastya Pramachala was hearing the case registered at Dayalpur police station against 11 accused, including Hussain, on the complaint of the officer’s father.

The judge said- I think that the accused named Mohammad Tahir Hussain, Haseen, Nazim, Qasim, Sameer Khan, Anas, Firoz, Javed, Gulfam, Shoaib Alam and Muntazim are guilty of sections 147 (rioting), 148 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) (rioting, armed with deadly weapon) and can be prosecuted for offenses punishable under 153A (promoting enmity between groups on grounds of religion etc.), 302 (murder) and 120B (criminal conspiracy).

Charges framed in money laundering case as well

Let us tell you that in the month of February, the Supreme Court refused to interfere in the process of framing charges against Tahir Hussain under the Money Laundering Act. At that time, the bench of Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice Pankaj Mitthal had said that the court cannot go into the details at the stage of framing of charges, which will be seen at a later stage. Talking further, the bench had told that- this matter is currently in the phase of framing of charges under PMLA and this is the reason why there is no need to interfere in this phase.
