Lal Chowk Clock Tower Gets A Makeover: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has shared a video of Srinagar’s historic Lal Chowk and Clock Tower. Srinagar’s red square glittering with light and the beautiful standing clock tower are writing a new chapter of Kashmir.
Sharing it, the Union Minister wrote that it now reflects the glow of peace, progress and prosperity under the leadership of the Prime Minister. In fact, the clock tower at Lal Chowk in Srinagar has been renovated under the Smart City Project.
Tweeting a video, the Union Minister wrote, “Srinagar’s historic Lal Chowk Clock Tower represents the times we saw during our important visit to Jammu and Kashmir. This redevelopment is now a symbol of peace, progress and prosperity under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Moti.”
In this video, some people standing near the bright red square are telling about the journey of this change. In it, one person says, “We stand in the center of a transformed city and this is an occasion to celebrate, from the new clock tower to the new plaza in Red Square.
You can see stakeholders, traders and common people here celebrating this revival. It is hoped that this journey of Srinagar’s Kaya Kalpa will continue. This clock tower is proof that the FMCG project has been successful today. The Lal Chowk that is shining today is the shining light of entire Kashmir.”
Let us tell you that under the Srinagar Smart City project, the clock tower at Lal Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir has been revived. Locals believe that after the renovation of Red Square, named after Moscow’s ‘Red Square’, the number of suitable places to go around the city will increase.
