Farmers besieged Chandigarh, including a large number of women

Farmers have besieged Chandigarh in preparation for the Chandigarh March on the invitation of the United Kisan Morcha and the Bharatiya Kisan Union. Farmers from Punjab and Haryana have camped on the borders of Chandigarh. Along with this, the police have made concrete arrangements to stop them. Heavy police force is deployed at Panchkula and Mohali border.

People are facing problems due to road jam. The farmers’ organizations have announced a sit-in in Chandigarh from November 26 to 28 demanding implementation of the MSP of crops and the Swaminathan Commission report. He alleged that at the time of withdrawing the agitation in Delhi, the government had promised to implement the MSP, but did not implement it
