ED's big action against Lawrence gang, raids at different places in Haryana and Rajasthan

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at several places in Haryana and Rajasthan on Tuesday in connection with the money laundering investigation against the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The officials gave this information. The Central Investigation Agency is searching around 13 places in the two states in the investigation being conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Bishnoi, who is still in jail, is one of the accused in the murder case of Punjab singer Sidhu Musewala. Let it be known that NIA has registered an FIR against the gangster and filed a charge sheet. The ED has taken action on the basis of these FIRs and charge sheets. In fact, ED has accelerated action against gangsters involved in money laundering. ED is also conducting raids on locations associated with associates of gangster Goldie Brar.

The ED is probing allegations that money collected by Bishnoi and his gang members in India through extortion, drug and arms smuggling in Canada and other countries was being used by Khalistan supporters. Bishnoi, a resident of Fazilka in Punjab, has been in jail since 2014.

He was arrested during an encounter with the Rajasthan Police. Bishnoi was brought to Delhi's Tihar Jail in 2021. Later on June 14, 2022, he was arrested by the Punjab Police and taken to Punjab in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala on May 29.

Various police agencies have been detaining Bishnoi in connection with the cases. The NIA investigation has revealed that a gang of terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers led by Bishnoi is involved in multiple murders and extortion from businessmen and professionals including doctors, creating an atmosphere of fear and panic among the people. is
