What is the NMACC event?
The full form of NMACC is ‘Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre’. It was inaugurated on March 31. An event called ‘Swades’ was planned for its inauguration. There were three events within ‘Swades’. Great Indian Musicals: From Civilization to Nation. It was a musical theater show. The second event was called India in Fashion which was a costume art exhibition. The third event was called Sangam/Sangam, a visual art show.
NMACC is built at Jio World Center in Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. It was designed by the world famous architect Richard Gluckman. Richard is known for designing iconic museums around the world. Well, this cultural center has a grand theater with 2000 seats, where plays will be staged. There is a 250-seat Studio Theatre, which is said to be equipped with the latest technology. There is also a cube, which will have 125 seats. The stage and ‘seat’ of this cube keep moving. So it can be adjusted according to different art forms. This cultural center also has a four-storey art gallery built in 16 thousand square feet.
