Changed timings of schools

The timings of all government, private aided and recognized schools in Punjab have been changed. School timings will be changed from March 1. According to the order of Punjab Government School Education Department, the timings of primary and upper primary schools have been changed from March 1 to March 31.

According to the information, all schools will open from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm and middle high/senior secondary schools will be open from 8.30 am to 2.50 pm.

There are about 19 thousand government schools in the state. More than 30 lakh students are studying in them. On the other hand there are more than 10,000 private schools.
