The government has informed that the dearness allowance will be paid to the employees in the salary of the month of April. That is, you will get money as arrears for the months of January, February and March.

Talking about level 14 employees, the GP for central employees is Rs 10,000. With this, the basic salary will start from Rs.1,44,200. Also, it will be around Rs 70,788 including DA and TA money. Along with this, if compared with the old Dearness Allowance, then according to this calculation, you will get approximately Rs. 6056 more. On the other hand, if we talk about the arrears of 3 months, the total amount is Rs 18,168.
Traveling allowance divided into 3 categories
Talking about traveling allowance, it is divided into 3 parts. It is divided according to cities and towns. First category – High transport allowance is for city and other cities are placed in other category.
The Labor Bureau does the calculations
Apart from you, the dearness allowance of the employees is calculated every month by the labor bureau. The Labor Bureau is part of the Ministry of Labour. DA was increased by 4 percent in July 2022 last year. Now once again it has been increased by 4 percent.
From the CPI-IW data released on January 31, 2023, it was decided that the dearness allowance would increase by 4.23 percent. But, it is done in round figure, so it is done at 4 percent.
