According to reports, the Delhi Police has recommended the dismissal of the case filed by the minor wrestler against the WFI chief as the wrestlers did not submit any sufficient evidence.
In April, the Delhi Police registered two separate FIRs against the WFI chief based on allegations of sexual harassment. The first FIR relates to the allegations leveled by a minor and has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POCSO) Act, along with relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code for indecent acts.
