Nikki Murder Case: Delhi Police has arrested Sahil Gehlot’s father, his two relatives and two friends in Nikki Yadav’s murder case. Sahil Gehlot has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his girlfriend Nikki Yadav.
All the accused conspired to murder
Delhi Police Special CP (Crime) Ravindra Yadav said that Sahil Gehlot’s father Virender Singh, two cousins Ashish, Naveen and Sahil’s two friends Amar and Lokesh were interrogated and their role in connection with the murder was confirmed and ascertained. He was arrested after being caught. He said that Constable Naveen in Delhi Police is a relative of the main accused Sahil Gehlot. The police officer said that all the accused conspired and hid the body in the refrigerator of their dhaba.
After the murder, all the accused were involved in Sahil’s marriage.
Special CP Crime Ravindra Yadav said that the father of the accused knew about the murder from the beginning. After the murder, all of them attended Sahil’s wedding. Ravindra Yadav said that after killing 23-year-old Nikki Yadav on February 10, 24-year-old Sahil Gehlot, a resident of Delhi, locked her body in a freeze. On Tuesday, 14 February, the police recovered Nikki’s body from the freezer of a dhaba located on the outskirts of Mitrau village in Najafgarh.
Gehlot confessed to the murder of Nikki Yadav
Let us tell that Sahil Gehlot is already in police custody and he has been interrogated thoroughly. After his arrest, he confessed to killing his alleged girlfriend Nikki Yadav because she was pressurizing him to marry her. According to the police, both got married in 2020 itself. The Special CP said that she was actually his wife and not a live-in partner. That’s why she was requesting him not to perform the marriage arranged by her family on 10 February with another woman.
