Told that his father and uncle used to act in the Bengali drama held every year in the village on the occasion of Ram Navami. This Bangla Jatra program was organized by Bajrang Apera of Chakulia village every year by the villagers. His father used to play the main character in Bengali drama and after coming home he used to practice acting like his father. Gradually the interest in the field of acting increased.

Inspired by father made acting his goal

Vinay Pratap Singh said that from 2013 to 2016, he worked in many Bengali plays under the direction of theater directors Jagdish Chandra Dubey, Karnlal Sharma and Sudhir Rajwar. After that he turned to Bollywood, where after a few attempts, he got a chance to act in short films Acid, Unclaimed Corpse, Unemployment and web series Psycho Killer directed by S. Kashyap of Navneet Production. After his work was appreciated, in 2017 he got a chance to play the lead role in Bollywood films like Ishq Sirf Tumse and Dagbaaz Balam. The post production work of both the films is going on in full swing. Meanwhile, he also got the lead role in the Bhojpuri film ‘Power of Kinnar’. Earlier, he had also got the opportunity to work in Bhojpuri films like ‘Mai Aur Mamta’ and ‘Hamdard’, but due to reaching Bhojpuri and Bollywood only after working in Bengali drama, his father and family including his entire Chakulia villagers Give special credit to Vinay’s father Indrajit Singh was told that the main character used to play the role of a role in the Bengali drama tour held on the occasion of Ram Navami in the village. Vinay will work in two new films

Vinay Pratap is going to work in two more new films. He got work in Hindi film Ajab Ishq and Bhojpuri film Aanchal. Vinay told that the shooting of both Bollywood film Ajab Ishq film and Aanchal will start from the month of March and April. Vinay is also working as a Para Legal Volunteer in Bokaro.
