New Delhi: The Supreme Court today gave a major verdict on the battle for supremacy over the AIADMK party in Tamil Nadu politics. The Supreme Court today affirmed the judgment of a division bench of the Madras High Court which reinstated Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) as the sole leader of the AIADMK party. Apart from this, the Supreme Court dismissed the petition of O Panneerselvam (OPS) challenging the decision of the Division Bench of the Madras High Court. Due to which Panneerselvam and his supporters have got a big blow. After the decision of the Supreme Court, now the command of the party will be completely in the hands of Palaniswami. After the court’s decision, a lot of enthusiasm is visible among the supporters of Palaniswami. Celebration is going on.

One faction came with veteran party leader E Palaniswami i.e. EPS and the other with O Panneerselvam i.e. OPS then a formula was formed. Under this, Palaniswami was given the responsibility of Joint Co-ordinator and Panneerselvam (OPS) Co-ordinator. Palaniswami’s faction wanted complete control over the party.
