Chandigarh: A war of words has once again erupted between Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and senior Akali Dal leader Bikram Majithia. In a program held in Jalandhar on Saturday, CM Mann responded to Bikram Majithia’s mention of the names of Haryana youth in the recruitment of sub-inspectors. But at the same time, he criticized the Punjabi language and the dinner held for the General Dyer at Majithia House.

After Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann challenged Akali leader Bikram Majithia to clear the Punjabi language written test with 45 percent marks within a month, Majithia has hit back. Majithia has said that a college dropout is now imparting knowledge to others. He said that the Chief Minister may be very good in comedy circus but running the state is not a comedy circus.

Bikram Majithia has written on his Facebook page….Punjabis are very surprised that a person who has left college midway is imparting knowledge to others. Bhagwant Maan ji, Punjabis had rejected you in 2022 because they did not believe that you would prove to be the most worthless Chief Minister of the state. The Chief Minister may be very good at the comedy circus but running the state is not a comedy circus.

Condemning this statement of the Chief Minister, Majithia said that the previous governments were responsible for the delay in the appointments of sub-inspectors. But due to his government’s haste to recruit Sushobitvir Singh in the process, the appointments have been delayed. Bhagwant Mann is taking everything as a comedy in the affairs of the state. But he has failed to realize that he has cheated the farmers, workers and youth and has proved to be a fraud.

Majithia said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann should publicly admit that he has no knowledge of running the state. That is why he has handed over the entire tenure to Delhi’s leadership, including Arvind Kejriwal, who is coming on a three-day visit to the state.

Majithia asked CM Mann if he had seen any other Chief Minister visit a state to seek guidance on how to run it. Majithia has advised Bhagwant Mann to be serious about running the state.

In fact, speaking during the function organized to distribute appointment letters to 560 sub-inspectors of Punjab Police, the Chief Minister said, “I have always dreamed of making Punjab the top state of the country. I don’t need to get a certificate from anyone to express my love for Punjab and Punjabis.”

The Chief Minister challenged Akali leader Bikram Majithia and Congress leader Amarinder Singh Raja Waring to clear the Punjabi language written test with 45 percent marks within a month. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that these leaders have studied from schools like Sanavar and Doon, due to which they cannot pass the Punjabi language exam.
