Bathinda police seized property of 4 drug smugglers

Property worth 35 lakh 22 thousand 829 rupees of 4 drug smugglers has been seized in Bathinda. This wealth was made by the smugglers through the drug business. Which has been seized by the competent authority Delhi under 68F NDPS Act. In this regard, posters have also been placed outside the properties of drug traffickers.

SSP Bathinda Harmanbir Singh Gill said that 24 cases of NDPS were sent to competent authorities in Delhi. Out of which 4 NDPS cases have been confirmed and remaining 20 cases are pending with the competent authority. The total cost of which is around 3 crore rupees. Apart from this, the Bathinda Police will identify more and more drugs and send them to the competent authority to confiscate them.

Apart from this, the copies of orders of confirmed cases of district Bathinda by the concerned police station have been pasted on the houses of the accused. According to these orders, the property confirmed cannot be sold or transferred in the name of relatives/family. The SSP has appealed to all to alert drug traffickers/relatives and villagers that those doing such business will face dire consequences.

SP City Narinder Singh said that properties of four drug smugglers have been frozen in the district. Notices have also been placed on his frozen property. He said that the drug traffickers will not be able to sell this property, which will belong to the government after further action.
