Punjab Government offices open at 7.30 AM: The Punjab government has decided to change the timing of its offices from Tuesday to deal with possible power shortages during the summer season. Government offices open at 7.30 am from Tuesday. On the first day, CM Bhagwant Mann reached his office. Meanwhile, CM Bhagwant Mann said that a new initiative has been taken by our government. This will be of great benefit and I look forward to join hands with the people of Punjab in this initiative.
Along with this, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora also reached the office on time. Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains reached his office at Punjab School Education Board in Mohali on Tuesday morning. Also, Public Relations Minister Chetan Singh Jode Majra has also reached the office. Along with this, due to the morning hours of the offices, the roads were jammed at seven in the morning.
According to the issued orders, from May 2, 2023, all government offices will open at 7.30 am and close at 2 pm. This schedule will be uniformly applicable to the Regional Offices, Civil Secretariat and all other offices till July 15, 2023. The Punjab government has appealed to the people to reach the offices for work keeping in mind the changed timings of the government offices.
