Today Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took a train journey from Budgam Railway Station to Baramulla Railway Station along with Railway officials. On the other hand, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said today, “I will inspect railway projects here today and tomorrow. There is also a meeting with the Lieutenant Governor today. All the schemes of railways, telecom, IT in Jammu and Kashmir, how these benefits will reach the people will be discussed.

Along with this, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said today that we will hold a detailed discussion on the necessary doubling of lines in Baramulla. At the same time, 3 more connections are to be added to this important rail line. Although many works have been completed on this line. The electrification work is almost complete. At the same time, there will be discussion with LG on extending this railway line till LOC.

Let us inform that, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the budget of Jammu and Kashmir in the Parliament in March this month, said that she is hopeful that by the end of the year 2023, Kashmir will be completely connected to other parts of the country through the rail network.
