Its process is in the final stage and this service is likely to start online this year. Along with this, the work pressure and congestion will also reduce in the zonal offices. The government will also be able to get the land rent online.

3.78 crore deposits will be digitized

According to sources, at present there are about three crore 78 lakh jamabandi in the state. All these have been digitized. Now the work of their verification is going on. To verify these, the digitized Jamabandi is being matched with the Jamabandi register. In this process, the inaccuracies or errors of digital jamabandi are being eliminated. For this, the Department of Revenue and Land Reforms has written a letter to all the Additional Collectors and given a deadline till 15th April.

Earlier verification was to be completed by March 31

According to sources, before this, the department had issued instructions on December 9, 2022 to all the additional collectors to complete the work of verification of all three crore 78 lakh digital deposits by March 31, 2023. However, due to the possibility of taking more time to complete the verification work, the department has issued instructions on February 28 asking all the additional collectors to complete it by April 15, 2023.

Details of the land will be available from the website

Due to the digitalization of these deposits, information related to the land will be available to the common people on the website of the department itself. In this, complete details of the history of the land will be available. All the information available in the Jamabandi register will be available in digital form. Later uploading of all these on the website of the department will be of great convenience to the common people.
