Bihar Teacher Recruitment: The General Administration and Urban Development Department has given the green signal to the proposed new rules for more than two and a quarter lakh vacant posts in primary and secondary schools of Bihar. On Monday, a high-level committee of the Education Department under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar Singh brainstormed on this. In fact, the biggest challenge before the department is to keep ready the answers to the questions being asked by the departments before the permission is granted. Presently, the department wants that the rules should be passed by the cabinet in this month itself.

It is being hoped that this week the permission of these departments will be given in any case. It is hoped that whenever the next cabinet meeting will be held, the rules will be duly approved. After this, applications will be sought for appointments by issuing an advertisement for the examination. At present, the departmental officers are discussing the rules several times a day. In fact, Education Minister Prof. Chandrashekhar has recently said that there is every possibility of approval of teacher planning rules in the next cabinet. Due to departmental activism, it is also looking like this. In the meeting held on Monday, apart from the Additional Chief Secretary, besides the primary and secondary directors, the members of the committee were also involved.
