The team that went to remove the possession was also sent away to the colonizer. Colonizers want to increase colony rates overnight by occupying land adjacent to their colony. There is talk that this colonizer is trying to take over at the instigation of a legislator.

It is not that no official is aware of this encroachment, the officials are turning a blind eye to this matter. Late on Saturday evening, some municipal council employees went to stop the garbage trolleys being thrown by the colonizers, but they were chased away from there. He told the employees that the work here will continue in the same way.

Sukhdev Singh Randhawa, the officer working in this case, said that on Monday, he will get the location of the pond marked from the revenue department. When SDM Sandeep Kaur wanted to talk about this matter, she could not be contacted.

Council President Rana gave the complaint to the DC while Municipal Council President Jatinder Rana said that he has given a written complaint to the DC Ludhiana Surabhi Malik. Who assured that strict action will be taken against the encroacher. Some people are encroaching on the government shed near Raikot Adda Road Council Park by putting garbage trolleys. The colonizers there want to find a way for their colonies through the pond so that they can increase the land rates by finding the way.

According to Pradhan Rana, this is the same colonizer who had earlier registered the council site with the connivance of the authorities. Due to which the case regarding that land is also going on in the court. Rana said that the pond will not be occupied at any cost. A press conference will also be held on Monday with fellow councilors.

Rana said that a grant of 11.52 lakh rupees has been issued by the Punjab government to clear the garbage from this pond. The contractor who has the task of removing garbage from the pond, has done about two and a half lakhs of work there. Unlike the NGT, the colonizers are violating the rules by filling the pond with garbage.
