World Cup 2023: Team India for the ODI World Cup has been announced. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar along with Indian captain Rohit Sharma announced the squad.
The World Cup is starting from October 5 in India. India’s first match will be against Australia on October 8 at the Chepauk ground.

Rohit Sharma (captain), Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav.
Arshdeep Singh has also been excluded from the World Cup, the biggest tournament after the Asia Cup.
15 out of 18 players were selected for the Asia Cup
Out of the 18 members of the Indian team for the ongoing Asia Cup in Sri Lanka, 15 players have made a place in the World Cup team. Tilak Verma, the famous Krishna and Sanju Samson, who are in the Asia Cup team, have not been able to make a place in the World Cup team.
