Cabinet Minister Aman Arora: Cabinet Minister Aman Arora laid the foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 7.58 crore at Longowal. He said that he is fully committed to fulfill the promise made to the residents of Longowal on priority basis before the elections.

Addressing the ceremony after laying the foundation stone of the state-of-the-art sports stadium being built at a cost of 3.96 crores near Police Station Longowal, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora said that this sports stadium has been instructed to be completed within the next six months. He said that pavilions, 400 meters track, basketball, badminton, volleyball, lawn tennis, football modern playgrounds will be built in this so that children and youth can be connected with sports.

He said that he had been taking steps towards the implementation of this project for the last one year and today is a golden opportunity when the first step has been taken to build the sports stadium. He said that the previous governments had provided basic facilities to Longowal. While they have been making meaningful efforts for the all-round development of this region since day one. The Cabinet Minister said that this sports stadium will prove to be a standard platform for promoting sports and surely our players will be able to record significant achievements in the field of sports.

After this, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora laid the foundation stone of the upper building of Shaheed Bhagwan Singh Government Senior Secondary School (Girls) at Longowal at a cost of Rs 3 crore 62 lakh. He said that along with making the state a leading state in the field of education, developing excellent infrastructure in schools is the main goal of the Punjab government to which we are fully committed.

On this occasion, President Municipal Council Parminder Kaur Brar, Vice President Ranjit Singh Kooka, Reena Rani, Subedar Mela Singh, Sushma Rani, Gurmeet Singh Lalli, Gurmeet Singh Fauzi, Sishanpal, Sarpanch Balwinder Singh Dhillon, Karam Singh Brar, Raju Longowal, Sippy Dhiman, Sukh Sahoke, Harpal Singh Badrukhan, Kala Badrukhan, Jugraj Singh Mander Kalan, Hansa Singh, Sukhpal Singh Bajwa Gurjant Khan, Harvinder Singh, Dhillon, Balkar Singh, Harvinder Singh Virak, Vicky Vishisht, Sevak Singh, Rishi Sharma, Balwinder Singh Pradhan, Sukhpal Leaders such as Singh Tochi, Nihal Singh, Gurmeet Singh Sidhu, Balwinder Singh MC, Pritam Singh Hauldar, Ram Kilah Bhari, Vicky Kunnar, Bittu Mander Khurd Jassi Badrukh were also present.
