A coaching student died after falling from the sixth floor in Kota. The student was sitting in the balcony with his friends, when they started walking towards the room, one of the students lost his balance and fell down as the netting of the balcony broke.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Singh said that the deceased Ishanshu Bhattacharya (20) was a resident of Dhupaguri, Jalpaiguri (West Bengal). He was preparing for NEET while staying in Jawahar Nagar area of ​​Kota. The body has been kept in the post-mortem room of Maharao Bhim Singh Hospital.

According to Amar Singh, Ishanshu was staying in a room on the sixth floor of a hostel called Vatsalya Residency. Last year came to the hostel in August 2022. Was sitting in the balcony with three friends at 11:15 pm on Thursday. After some time the four friends got up and left. In the meantime, the student got up and started putting on the slippers, so his balance was disturbed. He suddenly fell down from the nearby balcony while wearing slippers.

Amar Singh said that other students also reached the spot as soon as they got the information about the accident. The student was admitted to a private hospital in Talwandi but was declared brought dead. The student’s face was disfigured due to falling from such a height. The police have informed his family members. Postmortem of the dead body will be conducted after their arrival.
