A report quoting sources said that after the recent hike of Rs 209, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in New Delhi will now be Rs 1,731.50 from October 1. Earlier, the companies had reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 157 from September 1 and now they have increased it by more than that.

Now available in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai at this price

After the reduction in the price of a commercial gas cylinder in September, its price in Delhi was Rs 1,522. If we talk about metros other than Delhi, then from October 1, 2023, a 19 kg LPG cylinder in Kolkata will not be available for Rs 1636 but will now be available for Rs 1839.50. In Mumbai, its price has increased from Rs 1482 to Rs 1684, while in Chennai it will be available for Rs 1898.
The government has given a big relief

On August 30, the government had decided to reduce the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder by Rs 200, giving a big relief to the common people. After which the price of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in the capital Delhi has reduced from Rs 1103 to Rs 903. In many other cities, the price of a cylinder has come down by Rs 200. Apart from this, the LPG gas subsidy available under the Ujjwala scheme has also been increased to Rs 400. The price of LPG cylinder available under this scheme has reduced to Rs 703.

Eating out can be expensive

It may be mentioned that even before September 1, 2023, in the beginning of August, oil marketing companies had given relief by reducing the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders by Rs. 99.75. According to this, the price of 19 kg LPG cylinder (price of 19 kg LPG cylinder) has decreased by Rs 257 in the last two months. Now that its prices have been increased once again, this may increase the bill for eating out in hotels or restaurants.
