Bihar News: Bribery officers have been caught once again in Bihar. In Gaya, Vigilance caught Sanjeev Kumar, BEO of Tekari, red-handed while taking bribe. The Eye Vigilance team from Patna caught Sanjeev Kumar taking a bribe of fifty thousand rupees, arrested him and took him with him.
Block education officer caught taking bribe
The monitoring team reached Gaya from Patna headquarter and caught Block Education Officer Sanjay Kumar red-handed taking bribe from the office room of Block Resource Center Tikari. Monitoring took this action after receiving the complaint and caught the DEO red-handed by laying a trap. It is being told that the headmaster in charge of Tikari’s Chaita Middle School had filed a complaint under surveillance.
The headmaster in charge had complained
The in-charge headmaster had told the vigilance in his complaint that the Block Education Officer proposes that if he pays the bribe amount, he will not come again and again to inspect the school. There was also an allegation of demanding bribe to allow the construction work of the school building.
Team taken to Patna
According to the information, the surveillance team from Patna reached Gaya to verify the allegations. The surveillance team formed a raid under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police. After which Tikari’s Tikari’s BEO was caught red-handed taking a bribe of fifty thousand rupees. The surveillance team left for Patna with the bribed officer where he would be produced in the court.
