A laborer died due to falling from the 15th floor of a flat at Ludhiana

A young man fell from the 15th floor of a flat being constructed by Ambera Company on Mullapur-Firozpur Road in Ludhiana. Due to which he died on the spot. The young man was installing railings here. Meanwhile, his leg slipped. Due to which he fell down. The rods penetrated his head and body. People cut the bars of the body with the help of a cutter machine.

The deceased youth has been identified as 20-year-old Suheb. The deceased was originally a resident of Darbar Khurd Kairana, Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. Here he lived in company flats with other workers. The workers said that Suheb was working without a safety belt.

The workers created a ruckus After the death of the youth, the workers working in the flats staged a dharna. He said that the family of the youth should be compensated. After the arrival of the police, the employees also raised slogans against the company. The matter calmed down after the explanation of Mullapur Dakha DSP Amandeep Singh.

Along with this, the police informed the relatives of the deceased Suheb about the incident. The police took possession of the body late at night and kept it in the civil hospital reform morgue for post-mortem.

Workers working without safety measures
Laborer Umesh Yadav said that around 600 people work in the flats. The company is not providing any kind of safety kit etc. to any worker. The workers are risking their lives. Suheb was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the accident.

Along with this, no safety net etc. has been installed under the flats. According to police station Mullapur-Dakha, the matter is being investigated. The officials of the company are still silent in this matter.
