Patna. There is a deadline of March 2025 to increase the width of the road to four-lane with paved solder in about 40 km length from Mehrauna Ghat to Gopalganj-Siwan in Ramjanki Marg. For this, the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has given financial approval of Rs 1661.25 crore. This road will be constructed from Mehrouna Ghat on NH-227A to Gopalganj-Siwan on NH-85 near the border of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. The entire length of Ramjanki Marg is about 240 km. Out of this, about 50 km length from Siwan to Mashrakh, about 48 km from Mashrakh to Chakia and about 103 km from Chakia to Bhitthamod will be built.
